Anuška Delic

founder & editor-in-chief
An award-winning investigative and data journalist from Slovenia. A rookie in the exciting, yet rocky world of non-profit independent media in the European Union.
In 2018 she left the main daily newspaper in Slovenia and established Oštro, Center for investigative journalism in the Adriatic region. A mere year later Oštro is already beginning to make a mark on the regional media landscape. It recently launched Razkrinkavanje.si that performs daily fact-checking of Slovenian media content, public statements of persons who enjoy power and influence as well as other public messaging.
Oštro is a member of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) network of investigative journalism centers where Delić is a regional editor. She is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). Last year she was ranked 6th among EU's "Movers & Shakers" by Politico Europe for her work on The MEPs Project which joined together journalists from across the EU in the fight against European Parliament's decision to keep public expenses of MEPs a secret.
