European Royal Houses

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The members of Europe’s seven royal houses have billions of euros invested in property, strong ties to political and military elites and invest in businesses around the globe. At the same time, they receive large sums of taxpayer’s money annually to represent the public interest. Reporters from Spain, Norway and Sweden have dug into this and tell you about their work. Among other things how to reveal the abuse of public funds in the Royal houses; identify the (secret) money flows and how royals exercise formal and informal power in politics and business; ways to separate illegitimate, legal and illegal money-spending and work on stories that may meet criticism from a large Royal-friendly readership.
