EU open data - get an overview what is available on the two open data portals

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The EU has started to publish datasets by the European institutions and on national level. Two portals – one for the institutions (EU Open Data Portal) and one for the member states (European Data Portal) – provide an overview of available datasets including information on metadata and links to the original datasets. Representatives from both portals will guide you through the available material and search options. Furthermore, there will be a presentation by the winning application from the first EU Datathon 2017, a Hackathon that aimed at using and linking datasets from EU institutions. The event is moderated by Simon Jockers, a data journalist and web developer with German investigative journalism non-profit CORRECTIV.
