EIJC & Dataharvest is an annual, four-day conference, organised by Journalismfund.eu, which brings together journalism heavyweights, data specialists and coding whiz-kids to exchange skills and story ideas. EIJC18 & Dataharvest will take place on Thursday 24, Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday morning 27 May 2018. Like last year, place to be is the charming city of Mechelen, 20 minutes outside of Brussels and very easily accessible! Anna Myers is Director of the Whistleblowing International Network (WIN). Founded by the world’s leading whistleblower protection experts, WIN connects and strengthens civil society organizations that defend and support whistleblowers.

Anna is a lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in the field of public interest whistleblowing and anti-corruption. She was Deputy Director at Public Concern at Work (PCaW) in the United Kingdom for nine years and spent a year in Washington DC with the Government Accountability Project (GAP).

Anna has advised hundreds of individual whistleblowers and shares her practical and legal expertise with policy makers, journalists, organisations, lawyers, governments and professional bodies in North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Anna was consultant to the Council of Europe on the Recommendation on the Protection of Whistleblowers (2014) and drafted the UNODC Resource Guide on Good Practices in the Protection of Reporting Persons (2015).
